EMT – Equipment for Maintenance and Testing (Level 20 up to 40)
The EMT is used for checking and maintaining hydro-pneumatic or hydro-mechanic gun recoil mechanisms and tank turret hydraulic components. (Gun tubes cal. from 90 up to 155 mm). Using such maintenance equipment allows carrying out all requested maintenance and test procedures whether in a workshop or in the field in a professional and economic way.
We distribute this equipment under the designation „EMT“. Such equipments are currently used on the following weapon systems:
- AML90 (Gun type CN90F1)
- VBC90 (Gun type CN90F4)
- M60A3 (Gun type M68)
- LEOPARD 2
- SK105 (Gun type CN105M57)
- M109A2
- Artillery types TR F1 and AMX AU F3
- Gun types CMI Mk3 and Mk8
Standard configuration of EMT:
Basic Equipment
- Contains the hydraulic power pack with its distributor valves and all necessary adaptors and connection hoses with quick-release couplings
- The used hydraulic fluid is automatically filtered (β= 5µ)
- For special applications a hand pump can be integrated
- The power pack is electronically (programed) remote-controlled
- Electrical power supply from any 24V DC source (usually from the vehicle)
Accessories
- Contains of special adaptors and several flexible hoses with quick-release couplings or screwed connectors to convey hydraulic fluid and / or nitrogen
- Especially designed adaptors to realize the connection with the different components of the weapon system
- Adaptor to industrial nitrogen cylinders with Pressure Regulator and Pressure Gauges
- The Pressure Regulator allows to reduce the nitrogen pressure to the requested level
Gun Recoil Mechanism Exerciser
- Serves to move the recoil mechanism in both directions as required
- The return-in-battery velocity can be controlled
- Is installed / uninstalled in a minimum of time. Once installed, the exercising can be repeated, remote-controlled, as often as required
